The Danish Society of Dairy Technology is a forum for people with different backgrounds but with shared interests within the dairy industry.
The Society hosts events where members and other interested parties can meet, share knowledge, and discuss the latest aspects and development trends within the field of dairy technology, thereby supporting the technological progress of the industry.
For many years, the Society has therefore held a central position as a provider and communicator of dairy technological research and knowledge for the benefit of the Danish dairy sector.
In 2014, the Society became a member of the Nordic Dairy Council and thus participates in organizing the Nordic dairy congresses, which are held every three years.
In addition, together with the Danish Dairy Board, the Society organizes Mejeribrugets Dag—an annual professional dairy conference that combines technical presentations, exhibition stands from suppliers to the dairy industry, networking, and good catering. Read more under activities.
The Society was founded on October 1, 1942.
